SUMMARY AND ACTION REQUESTED:
Review real estate appraisal of 1800 Maple Street and determine interest in purchasing property.
BACKGROUND:
Staff presented information at the June 12, 2017, Housing & Redevelopment Authority (HRA) meeting regarding a 2-acre lot in Northfield, which may be for sale in the near future. The HRA Board expressed interest in purchasing the property and requested staff to obtain an appraisal.
After reaching out to 5 appraisers, staff selected Steve Mikula, Accurate Appraisal Services, LLC to complete the appraisal at a cost of $525.00. The appraisal has not yet been received, but should be available prior to the HRA meeting on August 10th.
RECOMMENDATION:
No staff recommendation at this time.
