Summary Report:
Please see attached working draft of the Strategic Initiatives developed by the Council from your last review on June 13th. Staff has reviewed these again and are providing some recommendations of minor revisions. Additionally, the detailed metrics in the "Target" column are still in development.

Consultant Craig Rapp will be at the meeting Tuesday to go through a final review of the one-page Strategic Plan Summary (2018-2020). The intent is to work out any final adjustments in preparation of the report development for consideration by the City Council on August 8th. The final drafts of the Strategic Vision and Mission Statements are being drafted for final review and are intended to be ready for presentation for consideration for adoption on August 8 as well.

Regarding the Action Plan steps for staff, Consultant Craig Rapp facilitated another review of small group teams of twenty-eight total staff on June 29th. These teams met and have begun developing these Action Plans. They are attached and are very much a work in progress. Mr. Rapp will give a summary of the development of these actions plans at the meeting. Staff intends to continue to work on these over the next month and provide opportunity for additional feedback from related strategic partners including Board's and Commissions. Additionally, the teams and management will be continuing to develop the action plans and working on refining them for more consistency in format and detail from one section to the other. The Action Plan is tentatively scheduled for Council review and action of support on September 5th. Thereafter, staff would begin implementation.
