Update on the City’s Strategic Planning Process and Climate Action

Action Requested:
The Northfield Environmental Quality Commission receives an update on the City’s Strategic Planning Process and Climate Action Planning.
Summary Report:
The Northfield City Council is continuing with a Strategic Planning process. As part of the process, one of the six strategic priorities is Climate Change Impacts. Within this strategic priority are three targets including an Adopted Climate Action Plan.
Staff has begun to develop strategic initiatives and action plans based upon the targets identified. The draft action plan related to the Climate Action Plan is attached, and still hasn’t been review by City Council.
