The Northfield City Council approves reimbursement of costs for the registration and miscellaneous expenses for Mayor Pownell to attend the Elected Officials Race Equity Community of Practice sessions, to be held June 29, July 27, August 24, and September 28, 2017, in the estimated amount of $300.
Summary Report:
The City Council is being asked to approve reimbursement costs for attendance at the Elected Officials Race Equity Community of Practice sessions, to be held June 29, July 27, August 24, and September 28, 2017. The registration fee is $100. Anticipated mileage is $200. Information regarding the conferences can be found on the LMC website: <http://www.lmc.org/page/1/GARE17.jsp>
City Council Motion M2012-022, adopted on February 6, 2012, requires that all City Council expenditures in excess of $500 in a calendar year are to be brought to the Council for approval. Expenditures to-date are $1,370.54.
Financial Impacts:
The estimated conference expenses are $300. The Mayor/Council conference, travel & training budget has funds to cover the above costs as noted below:
