Action Requested:
The Northfield City Council approves the attached Resolution Requesting Appointment of Driver’s License Agent.
Summary Report:
The State of Minnesota, in accordance with Minnesota R. Chapter 7404 and Minnesota Statute 171.061 requires appointment of a “Driver’s License Agent” as it relates to responsibilities within the operations of the Department of Motor Vehicles that is a service provided by the City of Northfield.
The Finance Director provides oversight of the DMV office as listed in the job description. City Administrator Martig recommends appointment of Brenda Angelstad, Finance Director, as “Driver’s License Agent” as provided in this resolution.
