Action Requested:
The Northfield City Council approved publication of a summary of Ordinance No. 988.
Summary Report:
The Northfield City Council has approved the first and second readings of Ordinance No. 988. City Charter Section 4.10 permits summary publication of ordinances.
The full ordinance as approved is attached as supplemental information.
Alternative Options:
The City Council could direct staff to publish the entire ordinance.
Financial Impacts:
The cost to publish the entire ordinance would be higher than the cost to public the summary.
Tentative Timelines:
If approved, the summary is proposed to be published on Wednesday, May 24. The ordinance would be effective on June 24, 2017.
