SUMMARY:
Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) CDBG Activity and balance report.
BACKGROUND:
Down Payment Assistance:
The HRA assisted one family with down payment assistance in April. Another application for down payment assistance is pending. There have been 8 inquiries regarding the program in the first quarter of 2017.
Historic Downtown Rental Rehabilitation Program:
There is currently one application pending for the downtown rental rehab program. The application is going through the required environmental review process with Dakota County Community Development Authority (CDA). Staff expects to have CDA approval in May. There have been 3 inquiries regarding the program in the first quarter of 2017.
Residential Rehabilitation Program:
Once the contract for administrative services with Three Rivers Community Action Agency is in place for the revised residential rehab program, notices explaining & advertising the new program will be sent to Community link, Northfield News and other agencies. There have been 2 inquiries regarding the program in the first quarter of 2017.
