The Northfield City Council approves Resolution Requesting Appointment of Deputy Registrar.
Summary Report:
The State of Minnesota, in accordance with Minnesota R. 7406.0355, Subd.3, requires appointment of a “Deputy Registrar” as it relates to responsibilities within the operations of the Department of Motor Vehicles that is a service provided by the City of Northfield.
Finance Director Lammers has held this position since 2007 and has submitted her resignation effective April 7, 2017. The position vacancy of Finance Director has been posted. During the interim, City Administrator Martig is recommending to appoint Michelle Mahowald, Communications and Human Resources Manager, as “Deputy Registrar” as provided in the resolution.
