Summary Report:
At the March 7, 2017 City Council meeting there are agenda items for the official designation of Earth Day and Arbor Day. This process allows for the City to retain its Tree City USA status, along with raising awareness of environmental factors through participation in the Earth Day celebration.

Earth Day will be celebrated on Saturday, April 22, 2017. The EQC will participate in the Northfield Earth Day Celebration held at the Carleton Weitz Center for Creativity.
