Consider Approving the 2017-2021 Capital Equipment Plan (CEP).

Action Requested:
The Northfield City Council consider approving the attached resolution adopting the 2017-2021 Capital Equipment Plan (CEP).
Summary Report:
Attached is the Summary of the Capital Equipment Plan. The CEP is a planning tool the City uses to keep track of larger pieces of equipment. 2017 equipment is included in the budget for the proper funds. Many of the 2017 purchases will come back to Council for approval due to the purchasing and bid requirements set by our purchasing policy.
A summary of the CEP organized by funding source is included in the packet. The CEP has not changed from the full copy handed out at the November 15, 2016 Council meeting. A full copy will be available on the City Website in January of 2017.
Financial Impacts:
The CEP is tied to the budget.
Tentative Timelines:
The CEP will preferably be passed in December to correspond with our 2017 budget.
