Action Requested:
The Northfield City Council authorizes the Mayor’s Proclamation Declaring a Local Emergency to continue beyond three days as needed.
Summary Report:
The City Council is being asked to approve a motion to continue the local emergency declaration beyond three days. A local emergency was declared by Mayor Graham at 12:15 pm on Thursday, September 22, 2016. A copy of the Mayor’s Proclamation Declaring a Local Emergency is attached. This declaration may not be continued for a period in excess of three days except by or with the consent of the governing body. A copy of the relevant State Statutes and City Code are attached.
