The Northfield City Council approves the attached Resolution Requesting Appointment of Deputy Registrar.
Summary Report:
The State of Minnesota, in accordance with Minnesota R. 7406.0355, Subd.3, requires appointment of a “Deputy Registrar” as it relates to responsibilities within the operations of the Department of Motor Vehicles that is a service provided by the City of Northfield.
Communications & Human Resources Director Mahowald has held this interim position since April 10, 2017. The Finance Director provides oversight of the DMV office as listed in the job description. City Administrator Martig recommends appointment of Brenda Angelstad, Finance Director, as “Deputy Registrar” as provided in the resolution.
