Consider Approval of Strategic Plan (2018-2022) Strategic Targets.

Action Requested:
The Northfield City Council is being asked to consider a Motion approving the Strategic Plan Targets as shown on the attached Strategic Plan Summary (2018-2020) as Amended August 21, 2018.
Summary Report:
The City Council has received quarter 1 and quarter 2 updates on the Strategic Plan (2018-2020). In addition, staff has been working on developing targets for many of the strategic priorities. Presentation and discussion of these targets took place at the July 17 and August 6 City Council meetings. The Economic Development Authority, Housing and Redevelopment Authority, and Human Rights Commission have discussed and reviewed the targets relative to the Economic Development, Affordable Housing and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion priority proposed targets.
Staff is still working toward some of the targets to be recommended for final approval by the City Council. Additionally, there may be additional amendments or alternations as deemed appropriate by the City Council. As an example, it has been noted that the Housing & Redevelopment Authority is exploring possible recommended additions to targets to recommend for City Council approval related to the Affordable Housing Strategic Priority.
