The Northfield City Council is being asked to consider the attached resolution approving an off-site gambling premises permit application for the Defeat of Jesse James Days Committee to conduct off-site gambling activities at The Grand Event Center, 316 Washington Street, on October 17, 2021.
Summary Report:
The Defeat of Jesse James Days Committee is in the process of applying for a premises permit to conduct off-site charitable gambling at The Grand Event Center on October 17, 2021. Pursuant to Gambling Control Board procedures, part of the process includes obtaining City approval of the premises permit. The off-site gambling premises permit will allow the Defeat of Jesse James Days Committee to conduct gambling activities at The Grand Event Center, 316 Washington Street on October 17, 2021 subject to the rules and regulations of the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. Staff recommends approval.
