Action Requested:
The Northfield City Council is being asked to hold a public hearing for Off-sale 3.2% Malt Liquor License for Erickson’s Diversified Corp. (Family Fare #330), located at 601 Division Str. S., Northfield.
Summary Report:
Erickson’s Diversified Corp. has applied for Off-sale 3.2% Malt Liquor License for 601 Division Str. S., Northfield. Staff will meet with the applicant prior to issuing the liquor license to review the premises and related liquor license requirements. Consideration of approval of the liquor license is scheduled following the public hearing.
Public hearing notices were mailed to property owners within 350’ of 601 Division Str. S. on August 25, 2020. A copy of the public hearing notice (attachment 1) and map (attachment 2) are attached. The public hearing notice was also published in the Northfield News on Wednesday, September 2, 2020.

Tentative Timelines:
If approved, license applications will be sent to the Department of Public Safety, Alcohol & Gambling Enforcement Division (DPS-AGE) for consideration. The licenses will be effective upon approval from DPS-AGE, submission of all final documents and premises meeting with staff.
