Presentation and review of the Energy Subcommittee Report.

Action Requested:
The EQC receives a presentation on the Energy Subcommittee Report that has been developed by the Energy Subcommittee of the Climate Action Plan Advisory Board. Discussion and feedback.
Summary Report:
In November 2018 the City entered into an agreement with Xcel Energy’s Partners in Energy Program (PiE) to develop a plan to begin to address energy use in Northfield. The Energy Subcommittee of the Climate Action Plan Advisory Board (CAPAB) worked with the PiE group to do this work and have written this Energy Subcommittee Report. It is being brought to EQC now for review and comments. This plan serves as a stand-alone document to allow the City to continue to work with Xcel on the 18-month Energy Jump Start items in Appendix 3. It will also be rolled into the Climate Action Plan. We will be asking City Council to review this report on July 2nd and approve a Memorandum of Understanding for the City to continue to work with PiE on Phase 2 - Implementation over the next 18 months.
