Consider Approving the 2018-2022 Capital Equipment Plan (CEP).

Action Requested:
The Northfield City Council approves a resolution adopting the 2018-2022 Capital Equipment Plan (CEP).
Summary Report:
Attached is the Summary of the Capital Equipment Plan. The CEP is a planning tool the City uses to track larger pieces of equipment. The 2018 scheduled equipment replacement is included in the budget for each of the indicated funds. Many of the 2018 purchases will come back to Council for approval due to the purchasing and bid requirements set by our purchasing policy.
A summary of the CEP organized by funding source is included as Attachment 2. A full copy is available on the City Website (Attachment 3).
Financial Impacts:
The CEP is tied to the 2018 budget.
Tentative Timelines:
The CEP will preferably be passed in December to correspond with our 2018 budget.
