The Northfield City Council approves the attached resolution approving Labor Agreement and Memorandum of Understanding between City of Northfield and International Union of Operating Engineers Local 70 (General Unit).
Summary Report:
This resolution approves the tentative new Labor Agreement between City of Northfield and International Union of Operating Engineers Local 70 (General Unit) for 2017 and 2018 and a Memorandum of Understanding.
The tentative new Labor Agreement implements components of the job classification and compensation study consistent with the implementation for nonunion employees approved by the City Council on March 21, 2017.
Tentative Timelines:
If approved, wage adjustments, including back pay to January 1, 2017, will be paid with the April 28, 2017 payroll.
