Consider Amending Adopted Schedule for 2025 City Council Meetings.

Action Requested:
The Northfield City Council is being asked to approve the attached Resolution amending the adopted schedule of City Council meetings for 2025.
Summary Report:
The amended schedule of 2025 City Council meetings and work sessions is attached. Changes made from the schedule originally adopted on January 7, 2025 are noted in red and are as follows:
* November meeting dates:
o 11/3 - Cancel this meeting as per the newly adopted revised City Administrator performance review policy. A 6-month check-in will not take place this fall. The 6-month check-in has been moved to Spring of 2026 with the annual review moved to Fall of 2026.
Reminder: City Councilors that are unable to make any of the meetings throughout the year are requested to notify the City Administrator, City Clerk, Deputy City Clerk and Mayor by email. This allows for coordination and planning for things like verifying we will have a quorum. If something comes up on short notice a phone call or text is appropriate to the City Administrator, Clerk or Mayor and we will work to share awareness for planning purposes.
Background
The Northfield City Charter provides that the Council shall meet at such time as may be prescribed by resolution. The meeting schedule will remain in effect until modified by the Council. The schedule can be modified at any time by resolution. Special meetings may be scheduled as needed as long as they comply with public notice requirements in accordance with the laws of Minnesota. The proposed schedule is as follows:
* Regular council meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month, with exceptions as noted on the attached schedule.
