The ACC receives an update on current projects.

Summary Report:
* Arte en Accion/Wandering House
o Wandering House placards have been delivered to the Streets and Parks Department and are being installed in parks and public spaces all over Northfield. You should see them popping up through the fall.


o Rocky Casillas is working with Community Development Director Jake Reilly and the Comprehensive Planning team to continue the work he started with the "Querido Northfield (Dear Northfield)" poster series, all of which will be included in the final draft of the Comprehensive Plan.

* Bridge Square
o The application for the NEA GAP grant to match Percent for the Arts funds for Bridge Square is currently being reviewed by the NEA. We will receive notification in April if we are awarded.
* Water Treatment Plant public art integration
o Four artists/teams were selected as finalists for the Water Treatment Plant public art integration. On August 22nd, City staff and representatives from Barr Engineering (landscaping) met with the finalists to answer questions and orient them to the project. Their proposals are due on September 26th and the full committee will meet on October 1st to review them and make a recommendation to the ACC. The ACC will vote on the final selection at our October meeting.
* Artists on Main Street (2023)
o Rocky Casillas is repainting several of the storm drain murals and should have them finished in time for the DJJD parade.
* Ice Arena (new project)
o On September 24th, ACC Liaison will meet with Public Works Director and architects for Ice Arena to discuss adding public art to the project. Updates will be shared in October packet.
