Action Requested:

The Northfield City Council approves a motion to approve the Playbook including all related exhibits that also is inclusive of Exhibit F. Memorandum of Understanding - Closed Meeting Guidelines.

Summary Report:

Following an initial review by the NH+C Board of Directors and the Northfield City

Council, the Playbook is returning for endorsement. Invitations to comment and edit

were provided to both groups.

The hospital board was asked to provide edits and revisions by the first week of February. Some language clarification and changes were recommended by the groups reviewing and the redline version is attached for your information.

Most of the suggested edits were in the appendix in Section 3 starting on page 29 and through 34.  These are mainly just clarifications primarily particularly around the appointment process.  Mayor Powell has “lived” that some with recent appointments. There was interest to make any changes now before the 2021 appointment process.

The Northfield Hospital and Clinics met on Thursday, February 2, 2021 and unanimously approved the Playbook including revisions.
