The Northfield City Council approves the summary publication of Ordinance No. 1097.
Summary Report:
The Northfield City Council approved the first reading of Ordinance No. 1097 amending the maximum block length for the Industrial zoning district of Chapter 34 - Land Development Code and the second reading is a separate item on the Consent Agenda.
City Plans & Policies Relevance:
Cost savings of publishing a summary of the ordinance is consistent with the Comprehensive and Strategic Plans.
Alternative Options:
The City Council could direct staff to publish the entire ordinance.
Financial Impacts:
Publishing the full ordinance would result in significantly higher publication costs compared to publishing a summary of the ordinance.
