EQC members provide work plan updates and progress. The 2026-2027 EQC work plan is attached for reference.
Beginning in September, the Environmental Quality Commission will transition away from standing subcommittees, with current subcommittee work concluding in August. Going forward, Commission discussions will take place during regular EQC meetings, allowing more business to be conducted in public meetings and giving all commissioners the opportunity to participate in key discussions. This approach also aligns Commission discussions with City Council priorities and staff work plans while respecting the time and capacity of volunteer commissioners by reducing the need for meetings outside of the regular EQC schedule.
