Action Requested:

The Library Board receives an update regarding the Library’s 2027 budget.

Summary Report:

The Library Director will provide an update on the 2027 budget process. The Library’s 2027 budget request for Rice County is attached, as well as news articles detailing the 10% reduction in funding from Rice County. Library staff will present and discuss options for reducing costs in the face of declining support.
