The City Council will receive an update on the progress of the Strategic Plan (2021-2024)

Summary Report:
Staff will provide a presentation on the progress of the City's 2021-2024 Strategic Plan. The plan emphasizes five key priority areas identified by the City Council:

Economic Vitality:
o Ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening local businesses, attracting new investments, and promoting sustainable economic growth.
o Progress on infrastructure improvements to support economic activities and enhance the business environment.
Housing Availability:
o Efforts to increase affordable housing options, streamline development processes, and support housing projects that meet diverse community needs.
o Updates on partnerships and funding strategies to address the housing crisis.
Quality Facilities:
o Enhancements to city-owned facilities, including parks, recreational areas, and public buildings.
o Focus on maintaining high standards of service and accessibility for all residents.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
o Progress on initiatives to foster a more inclusive community, including DEI training for city staff and outreach programs to underrepresented groups.
o Assessment of DEI goals and how they are being integrated into city policies and services.
Service Excellence:
