Summary Report:
Rice County has been working on an update to the County’s Comprehensive Plan. We recently received notice the proposed 2020 Update is now available for review and comment. The County has informed us they would like comments by the end of October 2020.
Individuals are encouraged to review and submit comments. Staff plans to scan the documents for items that may be of particular importance to the City of Northfield. If you identify items of concern that you would like considered, please feel free to send them to Mitzi Baker. She will coordinate with Administration on any official communications from the City of Northfield.
Tentative Timelines:
Comments are due to Rice County by the end of October 2020.
