Consider Resolution Accepting Gifts Received by the City of Northfield in 2025.

Action Requested:

The Northfield City Council approves the attached Resolution formally accepting the gifts and donations given to the City during 2025.

 

Summary Report:

The City Council is being asked to officially accept the gifts and donations given to the City during 2025. Minnesota Statute 465.03 provides that acceptance of gifts of real or personal property by the City shall be by resolutions and approval by a two-thirds majority vote. The details of individual gifts are listed in Exhibit A, which is made part of the resolution. Overall, the City received $1,043,099.13 in specific gifts or general donations. This total does not include any in-kind donations of time, supplies or materials contributed that are also noted in Exhibit A.

Gifts have been included in 2025 activity.
