Action Requested:                     

The Northfield City Council approves the summary publication of interim emergency Ordinance No. 1065.

 

Summary Report:

The Northfield City Council approved the first and only reading of Ordinance No. 1065 - prohibiting new or expanded development, planning and zoning applications and permissions within certain designed property located in the City of Northfield designated in the ordinance for a period expiring December 31, 2024, unless earlier repealed.  There will be no presentation, council questions or comments, or public comment on this item.

 

Alternative Options:

The City Council could direct staff to publish the entire ordinance.

 

Financial Impacts:                     

The cost to publish the entire ordinance would be approximately twice as much as the cost to publish the summary.
