Summary Report:
In preparation for the 2025 board and commission appointment process, the Heritage Preservation Commission (HPC) will receive an update on the current board and commission appointment process and timeline, members up for reappointment, and members who are no longer eligible for reappointment (if applicable).
The following Heritage Preservation Commission members’ terms expire on December 31, 2024 but they are eligible to apply for reappointment:
Robert Stangler Appointed 2022 (1st Term)
Jesse Steed Appointed 2022 (1st Term)
The following Heritage Preservation Commission members have reached their term limit:
Barbara Evans Appointed 2016 (3rd Term)
Board and commission members with expiring terms have been notified via email and mail of their status. The application process officially begins on July 1, 2024 but members are welcome to apply at any time. The application can be found online at https://weblink.ci.northfield.mn.us/Forms/BCApplication or a paper copy can be obtained at City Hall in the Administration office.
If a member chooses not to apply for reappointment, please let the Administration department and board/commission staff liaison know as soon as possible.
