Title
Strategies to Address and Curtail Graffiti.
Body
Action Requested:
Discussion/Information Only.
Summary Report:
Graffiti is a common challenge for any city of any size. There has been an uptick in graffiti in the roundabout tunnels near the schools and, until recently, the tagging has been confined to the colorful bands between murals. Now the artwork is being tagged, which requires costly maintenance by the artist. Staff would like to discuss possible strategies for diverting creative energy in a constructive way.
