Action Requested:
The Northfield City Council approves a Resolution adopting the attached City Administrator Performance Review Policy.
Summary Report:
On July 10, 2024, the Council Employment Policy Committee discussed and made a unanimous recommendation in support of approval to an updated City Administrator Performance Review Policy.
The policy provides guidance on the annual City Administrator Performance Review process. A mid-year check-in has been added. It is intended to provide the opportunity for more consistent and productive feedback from the City Council to the Northfield City Administrator throughout the year and continue to strengthen the process for the Annual Performance Review.
Tentative Timelines:
The Communications and Human Resources Director will coordinate the mid-year check in with Barbara Strandell, What Works Inc.
