The Northfield City Council approves Resolution of Support for State of Minnesota Transit Hub Capital Investment Request.
Summary Report:
The City of Northfield is seeking support for funding of a Regional Transit Hub in Northfield in collaboration with the Save the Northfield Depot organization that currently owns the site. Currently a House File 2295 supports this current request. Please see attachment.
City Administrator Martig and Mayor Pownell have presented the bill request to the House Capital Investment Committee along with the Chief Author of the bill representative Todd Lippert.

• If approved this session, staff would be working through timelines.
• There are plans for future discussion of putting the current access road development out for bids yet this year. Staff will be bringing that forward for more information at a future Council meeting.
