The Heritage Preservation Commission is asked to hear updates from staff.
Summary Report:
1. The City Council discussed Bridge Square Plans on August 8th. The consultants and staff plan to present an update to the HPC at the December 6, 2023 meeting.
2. The City Council work session on September 12th included a presentation on the Ames Mill Dam. This will be presented to the HPC soon, but HPC members are encouraged to watch and/or attend the work session.
3. The Comprehensive Plan process has started. The Kick-off meeting for Northfield 2045 Comprehensive Plan will be held at Greenvale Elementary School, cafeteria, 12 to 3 p.m. Food will be served at 12 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 1 p.m. Come and share your vision for the future of Northfield at the kick off meeting for Northfield 2045. This meeting will include interactive stations where participants of all ages, including children, will be able to share their vision for housing, parks, economic development, and transportation. 4. The Board & Commission training was held on October 24th.
