Staff Report
• Staff are developing a RFP for on-site solar proposals for City properties identified as good candidates in the Solar of Northfield report.
• Reviewing possible groups to work with community members on a bulk solar campaign.
• Working with B3 to automate Xcel Energy data transfer as step toward better energy tracking and building benchmarking.
• Fleet Study is underway with all data trackers installed. Tracking will take place for 90 days with a report to follow.
• Sustainable Northfield Podcast is live! It is on most major podcast platforms. The first one is about the CAP. A new episode will be released monthly. Carleton student, Izzy Quattrucci is recording the podcasts.
• Home Energy Survey is out to learn about what people need to do follow-up on home energy audits: <https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/5724695/NorthfieldHomeEnergySurvey>
• St. Olaf Environmental Studies - Integration and Application class projects are underway. Focus on developing virtual sustainability tours and EV/PV language for Land Development Code.
