There are a number of outstanding items related to and connected to the HRA, City, and housing in the community. Below is a summary update on each item. The Board has the opportunity to discuss or ask questions about each item individually if desired.

Community Engagement
There will be a community engagement meeting regarding the Spring Creek road construction on October 11, 2024 at United Methodist Church 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
There’s a Comprehensive Plan open house being planned for the week of October 28, 2024. More information to come.
Staff is working to coordinate a date for a follow up meeting with the residents at Viking Terrace regarding recent property assessments and resources to address deficiencies.

Southbridge: Landmark Environmental is preparing a phase I Environmental Assessment and Haugo Geotechnical Services is preparing the Geotechnical Analysis.

1 closed September 25. Two closings are scheduled for October 15.
Professional Development
Housing Coordinator is participating in the Leadership in Affordable Housing Certificate program at Hamline University and has completed Course I. Course II begins the last week of August ending December 2024.
