SUMMARY AND ACTION REQUESTED:
Update of the actions taken on behalf of the Housing & Redevelopment Authority (HRA) to purchase land at 1800 Maple Street South.
BACKGROUND:
The HRA Board directed staff to obtain the services of a real estate professional to facilitate the purchase of the property at 1800 Maple St S. Following City protocols, staff sent out a request for proposal letter to multiple local realtors. The request for proposal letters were followed by personal contact from staff.
Staff has received only one proposal at the time of this report. However, expects to receive additional proposals before the May 22nd HRA Meeting. Staff will report on proposals at that time.
