Comprehensive Plan Draft Review and Discussion.

Action Requested:
Review and discuss the draft of the 2045-horizon Comprehensive Plan.
Summary Report:
A supplemental memo will be provided Monday March 17, 2025, that includes a summary of changes reflecting the Planning Commission special meeting on March 10, 2025.
Some of the revisions to be shared on Monday, March 17, 2025, include:
- Text revisions to clarify that the City intends to partner with other township, municipal, and county government partners for mutually beneficial orderly, economic, and environmentally conscious development.
- Text revisions to clarify number and names of future land uses, and related descriptions.
- Text additions and revisions to Chapter 5 - Infrastructure.
- Text additions and revisions to Chapter 6 - Implementation.
- Removal of graphics previously identified as ineffective or redundant.
- A preview of new graphics to support the text.

* October 28, 2023: Public Kick-off meeting for the Comprehensive Plan, Greenvale Park School ?
* November 7, 2023: Steering Committee appointed by City Council
* November 11, 2023: Staff requests adjustments to scope and schedule based on an understanding that Planning Commission members are interested in more communication from the consultant team, or staff, about the Plan.
* December 18, 2023: Steering Committee meeting No. 1 ?
