Consider Approval of Temporary Liquor Licenses for the Defeat of Jesse James Days Committee.

Action Requested:
The Northfield City Council hereby approves temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor licenses for the Defeat of Jesse James Days Committee subject to the following:
1. For the Hog Roast on August 9, 2017 to be held at the Rodeo Site (North Babcock Park) and for the Defeat of Jesse James Days event, September 7 - September 10, 2017, at the following locations:
a. Entertainment Center - Fifth/Water Street Parking Lot
b. Park behind the Fire Station - Fifth Street
c. Rodeo Site (North Babcock Park) - Highway #3 South
d. Northfield Historical Society - 408 Division Str. (September 7, 2017 only)
2. The following events/locations shall be limited to the sale of wine and malt liquor:
a. Hog Roast - August 9, 2017
b. Entertainment Center - Fifth/Water Street Parking Lot; and
c. Park behind the Fire Station - Fifth Street
d. Northfield Historical Society - 408 Division Str. (September 7, 2017 only)
3. Hours of sale:
a. Wednesday, August 9 - 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
b. Thursday, September 7 - 5:00 p.m. - 12:00 midnight
c. Friday, September 8 - 4:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.
d. Saturday, September 9 - 12:00 noon - 1:00 a.m.
e. Sunday, September 10 - 12:00 noon - 6:00 p.m.
4. The applicant shall comply with the following conditions:
a. Comply with all conditions of the Defeat of Jesse James Days license agreement and community events policy.
b. Applicant is responsible to ensure compliance with all local and state regulations.
c. Non-compliance with conditions will result in the license being revoked.
d. The Tasting Event at the Rodeo site is subject to the additional conditions listed in Attachment 1.
e. Licenses shall be issued upon completion of successful background check and submission of all required documents.
