HRA to make a motion that approves a grant to Restore Recovery to assist with deposit and first month's rent for two (2) tenants.
Summary Report:
Restore Recovery is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit based here in Minnesota. Their mission is to assist women on their pathway of recovery through peer support services, transitional housing, and collaborative partnerships with organizations in the community. Their goal is to provide services that promote a lifestyle of recovery and believe that recovery is possible when an individual is paired with resources in a community that surrounds them. Restore Recovery is 100% lead by a board of women in recovery. National Provider Identifier (NPI 1174223473) records show that Restore Recovery as a Peer Specialist and operates as a multi-specialty business group with one or more individual providers who practice different areas of specialization. Individuals are certified to perform peer support services through a training process defined by a government agency such as the Department of Veterans Affairs or a state mental health department/certification/licensing authority. Restore Recovery's staff has been through similar experiences as those that they serve. In order for anyone to live a healthy lifestyle, and have their basic needs met, need stable and safe housing. Most people with substance use disorder have an enormous difficulty finding a place to live. Restore Recovery seeks to change that.
