Summary Report:
Layna Mestad, Youth Services Teen Librarian at Northfield Public Library will speak to City Council regarding new Teen initiatives at the library, including October is Teen Read Month and Teen Waivers for Fines during the month of October as a way of reaching teens who no longer use the libraries. Supporting documents include the staff reports and resolutions for Teen Read Month and the Fine Waiver for Teens initiative, both presented on tonight’s Consent Agenda.
Layna will be introducing the Library’s Teen initiative to Council through a short PowerPoint presentation.
