Summary Report:
Each subcommittee should choose a date once a month to start meeting and planning. The expectation is that one person will oversee reporting back to the staff liaison and create a report for the monthly HRC meeting.
At the last meeting, the commission asked Staff liaison Garcia to research the bounds of subcommittees and if members of the public were allowed to join a subcommittee. The members of the commission are representatives of the City and should act in accordance with the City’s policies and procedures. Members of the public cannot join the subcommittees on decision making but they are allowed to volunteer to help at events.
