EQC members receive an update on the upcoming EV Ride-and-Drive event and provide input on event communications.
Summary Report:
The City of Northfield is partnering with the Rotary Club of Northfield to host an EV Ride-and-Drive event on Saturday, September 26, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Northfield Middle School. The event will provide community members with an opportunity to learn about electric vehicles and participate in public test drives.
Staff will review proposed communications for the event with the EQC and seek commissioner input on how to effectively promote the event and encourage community participation. The event is being hosted in partnership with the Rotary Club, which is incorporating a charitable component into the event.
