Action Requested:
The Northfield City Council approves the following board/commission appointments.
Summary Report:
The City Council is being asked to approve the following board, commission, and committee appointments. With the recent code updates, most board and commission appointments have shifted to an April appointment and May start to terms. However, due to various reasons, some have remained with a December appointment and January term start.
Redacted applications for all proposed appointments are attached (attachment #1).
Proposed appointments in the attachment are as follows:
Hospital Board
• Richard Estenson reappointed to a term starting May 1, 2026 and ending April 30, 2029.
• Katie Lane reappointed to a term starting May 1, 2026 and ending April 30, 2029.
• Crystal Mulvihill reappointed to a term starting May 1, 2026 and ending April 30, 2029.
Human Rights Commission
• Krissa Anderson appointed to a partial term ending April 30, 2028.
Library Board
• Anna Runestad reappointed to a term starting May 1, 2026 and ending April 30, 2029.
