The City Council discussion on the Spring Creek Road Reconstruction Project Feasibility Report.
Summary Report:
City Council Ordered the Preparation of Feasibility Report for the Spring Creek Road Reconstruction Project at the June 4, 2024, City Council meeting, which includes the following project areas (Attachment 1):
• Spring Creek Road from Woodley Street to Huron Court (Reconstruction)
• Mill Towns State Trail (to Woodley Street)
Staff held the first Neighborhood Meeting on June 4, 2024. At this meeting, Staff received feedback about the upcoming project. Comments are included in Appendix D of the Draft Feasibility Report (Attachment 2). The majority of the conversations at the meeting revolved around the Woodley Street and Spring Creek Road intersection, and how that intersection can be improved. Staff has completed an All-Way Stop analysis for the intersection and has attached the findings (Attachment 3).
The purpose of this discussion item is for Staff to receive feedback from City Council on the draft feasibility report.
Alternative Options:
Staff would be open to any additional alternatives City Council may bring forth.
Financial Impacts:
Please see the draft feasibility report (Attachment 2) for the estimated project costs and estimated project funding.
Tentative Timelines:
Staff will bring forth the Feasibility Report for approval at the February 4, 2025, City Council meeting (Attachment 4).
