5. On March 21, 2024 the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) members unanimously approved a groundbreaking Policy Statement on Indigenous Knowledge and Historic Preservation <https://www.achp.gov/sites/default/files/policies/2024-03/PolicyStatementonIndigenousKnowledgeandHistoricPreservation21March2024.pdf> <%3chttps://www.achp.gov/sites/default/files/policies/2024-03/PolicyStatementonIndigenousKnowledgeandHistoricPreservation21March2024.pdf%3e>, following extensive outreach and coordination with Indian Tribes, Native Hawaiians, federal agencies, and State and Tribal Historic Preservation Officers.
