2025 Board and Commission Appointment Process Update

Summary Report:
In preparation for the 2025 board and commission appointment process, the Arts and Culture Commission (ACC) will receive an update on the current board and commission appointment process and timeline, members up for reappointment, and members who are no longer eligible for reappointment (if applicable).
The following Arts and Culture Commission members’ terms expire on December 31, 2024 but they are eligible to apply for reappointment:
Martha Anderson Appointed 2022 (1st Term)
Leah Rich Appointed 2022 (1st Term)
Kate Woodstrup Appointed 2022 (1st Term)
The following Arts and Culture Commission members have reached their term limit:
None
In addition, the Arts and Culture Commission has one vacant partial term, expiring December 31, 2026.
Board and commission members with expiring terms have been notified via email and mail of their status. The application process officially begins on July 1, 2024 but members are welcome to apply at any time. The application can be found online at https://weblink.ci.northfield.mn.us/Forms/BCApplication or a paper copy can be obtained at City Hall in the Administration office.
If a member chooses not to apply for reappointment, please let the Administration department and board/commission staff liaison know as soon as possible.
