Action Report:
The EDA Board shall receive a presentation from the Latino Economic Development Center (LEDC).
Summary Report:
The Northfield EDA entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the LEDC in March, 2025, and signed a full contract to work with Northfield in September, 2025.
This presentation is a chance for the LEDC to share their work in the Northfield business community.
The LEDC has been an excellent partner through the Operation Metro Surge that deeply impacted Northfield’s business community. The EDA expanded our partnership with LEDC by funding an emergency grant program in March 2026, providing a funding source specific to Northfield businesses impacted by those actions.
