* Northfield Board & Commission Training October 22, 2024 5:30-7pm
Members of Northfields Board & Commission will be given the opportunity to help the City Council set strategy by weighing in on priorities, service delivery, and quality of life issues. City Consultant Craig Rapp will facilitate a give-and-take session that will link long-term Comprehensive Planning to the operationally focused Strategic Plan.
* U.S. State Department's International Visitor Leadership Program- African & Caribbean Leaders Delegation Visit October 8th
Chair Jones and Vice Chair Provancha meet with the African & Caribbean Leaders Delegation on Tuesday October 8th on Carleton's campus to discuss the city's Climate Action Plan progress, including recent initiatives and policies designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and enhance sustainability. The conversation covered how these actions align with Northfield's Climate Action Plan goals and their impact on local environmental quality
* 2025 Environmental Quality Commission Work Plan
Please send me any items/suggestions/initiatives etc that you feel should be considered for the 2025 Workplan. We will discuss all ideas at next month's meeting for consideration, keep in mind the workplan for 2025 will be limited to 4-6 initiatives. If there are items on the 2024 Work Plan that you feel should be carried over into next year's workplan please inform me of that as well. When evaluating workplan initiatives please keep in mind that these action items should be reasonable and achievable for 2025, we should strive to create a workplan where every item is completed by the end of the year
