Summary Report:
In preparation for the 2025 board and commission appointment process, the Planning Commission (PC) will receive an update on the current board and commission appointment process and timeline, members up for reappointment, and members who are no longer eligible for reappointment (if applicable).
The following Planning Commission members’ terms expire on December 31, 2024 but they are eligible to apply for reappointment:
Tracy Heisler Appointed 2017 (2nd Term)
Jason Menard Appointed 2022 (1st Term)
Donald Stager Appointed 2023 (Partial Term)
The following Planning Commission members have reached their term limit:
None
Board and commission members with expiring terms have been notified via email and mail of their status. The application process officially begins on July 1, 2024 but members are welcome to apply at any time. The application can be found online at <https://weblink.ci.northfield.mn.us/Forms/BCApplication> or a paper copy can be obtained at City Hall in the Administration office.
If a member chooses not to apply for reappointment, please let the Administration department and board/commission staff liaison know as soon as possible.
