Comprehensive Plan Update & Discussion.

Action Requested:
Review and provide input on draft documents prepared as background to the development of the 2045-horizon Comprehensive Plan.
Summary Report:
Staff and Erin Perdu from Stantec, the lead consultant on the Comprehensive Plan project will give an update on the status of the Comprehensive Plan, including a facilitated discussion. The presentation will include an overview of the current draft Visioning and Values documents and the guiding principles associated with the decision-making framework. The Council will also hear from Ms. Perdu about five draft analysis documents looking at Economic Development, Housing, Land use and growth, Transportation, and Climate. Staff recommends the City Council evaluate the analyses together as they are dependent upon each other. Discussion is likely to take them each on their own merits.
